Detroit Urban Livestock Ordinance Community “LISTEN AND LEARN” Sessions

Categories: Event, Neighborhood Organziation

Currently in the City of Detroit it is illegal to keep livestock (such as chickens and goats). The City Planning Commission is in the process of drafting an ordinance to allow for certain farm animals (and honeybees) and wants feedback from Detroiters. The goal of these meetings is to educate as well as listen to community ideas, opinions, and concerns. Please share widely with your neighbors.

These sessions are FREE and open to the public. There will be 2 sessions, November 16 on the Eastside at Perfecting Church and November 18 on the Westside at Greater Grace Temple.
