CEDAM’s Board of Directors: Call For Nominations

CEDAM is seeking regional CDC representatives and at-large representatives to serve on our board of directors. CEDAM’s board consists of 18 members; 12 are CDC representatives with two representatives from each of the six regions across the state, and six at-large members.

Eligibility & Process

Board members serve a two-year term, and a board member may serve up to three consecutive full terms. In order to run for a regional CDC* representative position, you must be an authorized representative of a CDC that is a 2019 CEDAM member in good standing.

*A CDC shall be defined as a Michigan nonprofit corporation that has qualified as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization as defined by the Code, involved in planning and implementing community housing and economic development activities, projects and programs in its community.

CDC representative elections will take place in March. At-large elections will take place in April.


Board members attend meetings every other month (call-in options are available), provide input on CEDAM’s future direction and programming and are actively involved in CEDAM committees or programs.
