Detroit Future City (DFC) is excited to invite you to celebrate their 2018 Working with Lots Stormwater Grantees. This year, DFC provided technical assistance to 5 groups – which represented small businesses, a faith-based organization, and a non-profit – that used the Field Guide to inspire innovative stormwater management practices and install new lot designs that will help them qualify for DWSD Drainage Charge Credits.
The event begins at 8 a.m., with a light breakfast and coffee. A short presentation will begin promptly at 8:15 a.m. to share more about the implementation process, followed by a bus tour.
The bus will depart promptly at 9 a.m. and will include visits to various installations that are in process to provide you with a real-time implementation experience.
Seats are limited, so reserve your spot today!

Parking can be validated if you park in the surface lot that is directly behind the New Center One building. That parking lot is located on the south side of Lothrop between Second and Woodward Avenue. There is also meter parking along with W. Grand Blvd. and Second. Additionally, there is a pay lot right next to our building that normally costs around $5.
Revenues from ticket sales go to support the DFC Lots to Maintain Program, which provides support to community members that have used the Field Guide to transform a vacant lot in their neighborhood. Since launching the Field Guide, nearly 50 vacant lots have been transformed from a liability to an asset. Choose the payment package you are most comfortable paying for. If you are unable to pay, please contact email@example.com to make arrangements and reserve your seat.
