Get packing with NEXTGen Detroit and Repair The World Detroit as we engage in our 5th annual seed packing event for Keep Growing Detroit. Bring your friends for a fun night of doing good, learning and meeting new people while savoring some craft beer (of course we will rep some Detroit brews)!

For our 5th year of seed packing, we’re adding a special twist: Sporcle Live will be hosting trivia games throughout the night! Test your knowledge and get the chance to win prizes, all on this awesome night of service and fun.

Keep Growing Detroit provides farmers, community and family gardens within the City of Detroit with seeds and seedlings to help promote food sovereignty.

Classes are inside of the Community House, which is the building painted with the bright colored circles at the end of the Splash Park parking lot on Merrill Plaisance (near the intersection of Pontchartrain), south of Seven Mile and west of Woodward Ave.

Format: Hatha Yoga. This is a traditional yoga class for all levels.

Membership & Cost:

$5 for People for Palmer Park members, $8 for non-members.

Annual memberships are $20 for yoga students.

Kids:

Youth ages 6 and up are welcomed to join the class as long as they can remain quiet the entire hour. If the kid(s) become noisy we kindly ask that you step out of class with your child to be considerate of the other practitioners.

What to bring:

Yoga Mat if you have one. Mats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Water and towel if preferred.
