Small Business Remote Legal Clinic (COVID-19) - Individual Attorney Volunteer Registration
Hundreds of thousands of small business owners, many of whom already operate on very narrow margins, are struggling with questions about how their businesses will survive the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only do these businesses provide necessary services in communities all over the country; they provide employment, job training, and other benefits. Their survival is essential to strong neighborhoods.
To support these small businesses, we're building a remote clinic program to provide (1) guidance regarding available federal, state, and local programs which may offer grants and/or loans; and (2) pro bono legal consultations (by phone) to help small business owners dealing with diminished revenues or closures due to COVID-19.
To volunteer with this program, please fill out the form below. Please note that completing this form does not guarantee you will receive work through the clinic - assignments will depend on the volume and type of requests we receive in each city.
NOTE: This form is to be completed by lawyers whose law firms have already signed up to participate in this program. If your law firm name does not appear as an option in the "Law Firm" field below, please reach out to your firm's pro bono coordinator and invite them to visit this link for more information or to join the program: https://www.lawyersforgoodgovernment.org/covid19-small-business
