Andréa Gutierrez serves as Client Management Associate for MCR and comes to us as a 2021-2022 Challenge Detroit fellow. Andréa works to provide professional and personable services to nonprofits and grassroot organizations, including but not limited to those who receive services through our Office Hours program. She also works with our Legal Team to help bridge the gap between our programs in legal and capacity building. Andréa is passionate about community building, specifically through advancing equitable distribution of resources.

Andréa was born and raised in northeast Michigan. She decided to move to Detroit not to help bring the city back to life, but to shine a light on the life within the city.

Andréa holds a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a focus in Law, Justice and Social Change from the University of Michigan (2020).
