Each year, MCR staff and volunteer attorneys provide legal services to more than 100 nonprofit organizations in Detroit and throughout the state. Working together, these attorneys provide a wide range of business and transactional legal services to nonprofit organizations.

Legal Office Hours
Community-based organizations and nonprofits, aspiring or established, can make consultation appointments with MCR legal staff on a variety of needs including startup, nonprofit legal intake, document review, or brainstorming.
Virtual Legal Clinic
Our virtual legal clinic provides nonprofit and small business leaders with free, targeted legal advice during a 45-minute remote consultation with a volunteer attorney.
Pro Bono Legal Services
Our Pro Bono Attorney legal services pair nonprofits with a free lawyer who can work with them through a variety of transactional legal issues related to the operations of nonprofits.
