PROGRAM MANAGER, PRO BONO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
New in 2020, Michigan Community Resources (MCR) seeks to launch its Pro Bono Professional Services program. Nonprofits are often unable to afford crucial professional services for their organization including legal, accounting, human resources, IT services, and more. This limits their ability to maintain financial stability and achieve the impact they strive for in their community. Through partnerships with corporate partners, this program will connect nonprofits directly to employees at local companies to address these needs.
Specific responsibilities of the Program Manager position include program design and management, relationship building, capacity building and technical assistance for MCR’s nonprofit clients, and more.
PROGRAM MANAGER, NONPROFIT RESOURCE NAVIGATOR
Michigan Community Resources (MCR) is excited to partner with Co.act Detroit as they launch the pilot phase of the Activate Fund in early 2020. The Activate Fund will invest a dedicated $1,500,000 technical assistance fund in nonprofit organizations to support nonprofit impact in the community. The fund will invest in two core areas based on the Building a Network: Recommendations for Redefining Capacity Building in Southeast Michigan report, which approaches a model for building nonprofit capacity through a social justice lens. MCR will support outreach for the Activate Fund, support info sessions and application assistance, provide customized coaching and trusted guidance to grantees, and partner with Co.act to facilitate a cohort experience for grantees.
Specific responsibilities of the Program Manager position include program design and management, nonprofit cohort development and relationship building, capacity building and technical assistance for nonprofit clients, and more.
