WHAT WE DO:
We support nonprofit and grassroots organizations with capacity building services, tailored cohort experiences, and legal guidance.

Using a lens of racial and social equity, we seek to build power within the nonprofit sector by shifting norms, practices, and attitudes, leading to systems transformation for our sector and our world.

    RESOURCE NAVIGATION & CAPACITY BUILDING

Whether through direct consultation with nonprofits or by building tailored cohort experiences for grantees alongside foundation partners, MCR works to strengthen the nonprofit ecosystem.

We aim to ensure that organizations large and small have access to the knowledge, resources, and relationships they need to accomplish their missions.

    TRUSTED LEGAL GUIDANCE

Our expert legal team provides pro bono legal assistance, pairing nonprofits and grassroots organizations with volunteer lawyers to address transactional legal matters and ensure nonprofit legal compliance.

The result is more informed and equipped nonprofit leaders that are confident navigating complex systems and ready to focus on their important mission work.

    TRANSFORMING SYSTEMS TOWARD EQUITY

Our work is driven by the belief that our communities are best served when systems are designed by and for them.

Informed by research like 2023 Rest and Liberation Initiative Report and over 25 years of relationship building, MCR uses a racial and social equity lens to challenge systems and empower community.
