RESOURCE NAVIGATION

Adriana Walker (she/her) serves as a program manager with the Resource Navigation team. She is a native Detroiter who grew up going to Lipke Park Recreation Center. Adriana began her professional career during her undergraduate studies at DePaul University in Chicago, with work ranging from a youth mentoring program on the South Side to higher education programming at a maximum-security correctional facility.

Adriana joined MCR to help transform the systems affecting people in marginalized communities. She hopes her work will help to create a world where young community members feel safe and have community centers to play and grow in and where incarcerated and returning citizens have places to heal their community harms and be fully rehabilitated as citizens.
