LENZI ABMA

PROGRAM MANAGER, RESOURCE NAVIGATION

Lenzi Abma joined MCR in 2022 as a program manager. Much of her work is that of an intermediary, supporting nonprofits as they complete their grant program, as well as connecting nonprofits with professionally skilled volunteers. Lenzi is passionate about connecting people with resources.

Lenzi's work history has been entirely in the nonprofit sector. Through grants, information, and network-building, she has supported a wide range of geographic areas and subject matters. Lenzi has worked with resource-rich and resource-creative organizations to help them find and access the tools they need to thrive. Lenzi earned her BA in environmental students from Calvin College. Before joining the MCR team, she worked with the Greening of Detroit and the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan.
