LEGAL PROGRAM ASSISTANT

Michele Chang (she/her) grew up in the Von Steuben neighborhood of Detroit and attended University of Washington, graduating with a B.A. in American Ethnic Studies. Michele was propelled into the life of service through her profound experiences in AmeriCorps NCCC. She has worked in the nonprofit and public sector for over 10 years. Passionate about empowering communities, Michele spent five years in Seattle working in legal aid. Fascinated by the human experience, Michele is a lover of travel and has been to over 15 countries. In her free time, she likes to go on adventures with her rescue dog, Georgie, and collect vintage items.
